World record

We are proud of the Dutch syrupwaffle and the whole world may know that. That is why we tried to set a world record on 29 June 2013, together with six Dutch entrepreneurs. We tried to bake a syrupwaffle bigger than 2 metres.

It took sixty kilos of dough, fifteen kilos of syrup and a 3,000 kilo baking iron. After many exciting hours the largest syrupwaffle of the world was a fact. With a diameter of 2,47 meter it was more than 800 times larger than the regular syrupwaffle. The world record has officially been accepted by the Guinness Book of World Records.
